Mom Rambling

My son has really struggled with learning over the past few years and even now a month into the second grade he continues to struggle with basic things especially reading. His teachers have suggested that we try to include some educational apps into our at home studies. The Kids Academy Apps have been a great addition for us. Though it’s designed for kids of a younger age we have been able to use it to refresh the basics with him. It includes writing, math, and reading as well as library so if he’s not feeling up to working on one on one particular day he has other options. It’s really helped to boost his confidence and he looks forward to playing it. I love that it also has printable worksheets for days when we are on the run or when we need a break from electronics. Overall, I was really excited about this app and couldn’t have been more impressed. I will definitely recommend it to family and friends who are in the market for something similar.
